The basic tenet of osteopathy is ’structure governs function’. Applied to the horse, if its structure is sound then it should function perfectly.
From a neuro-musculoskeletal viewpoint, if all of the horse’s joints and muscles are moving correctly then the horse’s locomotion should be unimpeded and free flowing. As a result no unnecessary strains are put on any musculoskeletal structures and therefore injuries are kept to a minimum.
Whatever your horse’s discipline – hunting, racing, polo, dressage, showjumping or cross-country – achieving flexibility, along with appropriate strength is, of course, your aim.
Fees:
£70 per horse. Over 30 miles radius travel charged at £0.50 per mile.
